The Diadem – II
The auditorium had seen clearer days, and a populace with more intent plans and interests, who’d bend down in all wonderment and clap in all heartiness, to shows more brilliant. He sat there smirking, with men who smirked ruder and women who never showed up, still thinking of the diadem. It had been more than a night that he’d resigned and the feeling still, repudiated to descend into what he judged as an aware self. His neighbors hooted louder to the sillyness of it, to which he joined, lest they discern the conceptions that entwined with the humor of what was proving to be a very difficult day.
The diadem was lost, forever. He’d always dread the consideration of an affair this unwanted, of what may follow the pasting of something this treasured, and loved. It proved to be rather easy though, shockingly easy. He suffered no more of the severances of anything so trivial, of the accountability on what occurred perpetually, of having to preserve notions and models of the most irregularity. The glee of a Saturday afternoon valored him to terminate the most sadistic surround, and to tell her, that he had had enough. The diadem, he now deemed never were but a ploy to keep alive, and worse swell what could possibly have been the most whimsical inferences. It was the most silly game, and he knew that it was now over.
He laughed harder at something all in the auditorium found outrageously funny, but for reasons more relieving . This , he knew, would be remembered as the most brilliant session ever :)
